FORMAT
This is where you
setup the optical format of the card. The following are examples
of the
2 ADAT format (Fig. 1) & ADAT plus SPDIF format (Fig. 2).

Note that the Sample Rate
Converter ("SRC") is being used on Input B.

Here's a thoughtful touch: We put Phase Reverse for each input & output to deal with the old, original ADATs. The oridinal ADAT inverts the anolog input signal and re-inverts the signal of the analog output, however it does not re-invert the digital output. Therefore, if one were to transfer the ADAT's digital audio data to another digital audio device then it would be out of phase. This does not happen with the ADAT XT. Phase Reverse takes card of this discrepancy in cases where one may need it.
