BIOS SETUP (WIN95)
There are two things that are pertinent to this procedure:
1. Hit the "Delete" key while booting up. Here's the the screen you get (Fig. 1):
Fig. 1
| Use the 'arrow cursor keys' to navigate the menu and make selections. | |
| To activate a selection, use the 'return' key |
2. Go into POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP (Fig. 2)
Fig. 2
3. Make sure Power Management is disabled!
4. Go
back to the main menu.
Use the 'Esc' key to return to previous menus.
5. Go into PNP AND PCI SETUP (Fig. 3).

6.
Make sure PNP OS Installed is set to "Yes".
If you have any legacy devices, this is
where you can reserve an IRQ for them (we don't have any, so they
all say, "No/ICU"). Also, here is where you can
force the PCI slots (in this motherboard, at least) to be at a
certain interrupt. Right now, they're all on
"AUTO." However this is a nice feature when you get TWO
STUDI/O cards. In that case you can set them to the SAME
INTERRUPT, which is more efficient for our driver. You can
also make the other PCI cards you have use different interrupts.
This way you don't have the video, SCSI and STUDI/O all on the
same interrupt, which could impede your multitracking.
Keep in mind, that these are the settings that we used to get this setup working.
