SONORUS, INC. STUDI/O DRIVERS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Unstuff the ".sit" file. It's a STUFFIT archive which will expand into a folder with all the STUDI/O ASIO drivers. Point it to somewhere on your hard disk that you'll remember and be able to find. Stuffit Expander (by Aladdin) comes with all macs, so you have it somewhere on your hard drive (use Find... from the File menu if you need help).

For Cubase, Vision, Metro, Digital Performer:

Locate your 'ASIO Drivers' folder for Cubase. Open that folder, and the 'ASIO Drivers' folder inside your newly created STUDIO folder. Drag the ASIO drivers you think you'll use over to the ASIO folder. Also read the README-STUDIO.TXT file for addition information.

For Logic:

Locate your Logic Platinum/Gold program file. If you already have an 'ASIO Drivers' folder then follow the instructions above. Othewise drag the entire 'ASIO Drivers' folder from the STUDIO16 folder over to the Logic program folder (holding 'option' will make a copy). Also read the README-STUDIO.TXT file for addition information.

Firmware updater:

Run StudioUpdateROM to update the firmware in your board. This will allow you to use other 56301-based boards in the same machine, such as Kyma™, Layla/Darla/Gina, Digidesign PT-Project and PT-Mix.
